NEW HALLOWEEN SCRIPT - What do you do with a gal ghost who shows up on Halloween night dressed in flip flops by Gumbie, a Lululemon skirt, a cap from The Gap, and a Gucci hand bag?  You take a page from the "What Not To Wear" TV series and lend the girl a sheet!  For more information, please click HERE.

-----------------------------

NEW "Grandparents" SCRIPT - This is a script written to pay tribute to grandparents.  Three versions are available: (1) a Choral Reading/Speaking version for Elementary School readers, (2) a Readers Theater version for Elementary School readers, and (3) a Readers Theater version for young primary students who can read simple words and short phrases - featuring an older reader or teacher in the narrator's role.  For more information, please click HERE.

------------------------------

CITIZENSHIP and CHARACTER-BUILDING SCRIPT!  Based on materials from the well-known program, "Character Counts", this script has been especially written for three older readers to perform for an Elementary School audience.  For more information, please click HERE.

-----------------------------

AMAZING NEW SCRIPT FOR HIGH SCHOOL READERS!  High School Teacher/Writer, Lee Karvonen, just sent me a new script featuring 3 female readers engaged in a conflict over the "rights" to persue the new, good looking, guy at school.  The script has been created to illustrate and teach Anger Management Mediation Skills.  This is such a specialized script that I know it won't work for eveyone.  However, there have to be some teachers out there who are trying to deal with Anger Management.  If so, this is a script worth considering!  For more information, please click HERE.

-----------------------------

GROUP READ-ALOUD SCRIPTS. Divide your readers into groups, give each group a script addressing the same central teaching theme (or unit), then READ-ALOUD! The scripts may be read aloud as a classroom learning activity, or rehearsed until they are ready to perform for a special audience or your entire school. (You've heard of "learn while you earn time"?  Well, this is "learn while you read" time)!

This innovative Group Readers Theater approach, developed by writer Sue Russell, is surely the way of the future” For more information, please click HERE.

"Lois Walker is one of my favorite Readers’ Theater writers. The stories Walker presents are humorous and engaging, but I particularly enjoy the lyrical manner in which she writes them."
