I-79 MRS. SUMMER-FALL-WINTER-SPRINGTIME, Readers Theater Version

An original RT script about the seasons featuring rhythm and rhyme for Older Beginning Readers to Intermediate Readers. Cast: 6 Readers in total and a repetitive chorus for all. Length: 5 pages.

Some sample dialogue:

READER 1: We know an old woman

READER 2: Who loves rhythm and rhyme.

READER 3: She's called Mrs. Summer-Fall
                Winter-Springtime.

READER 4: And true to her name,

READER 5: And for no good reason,

READER 6: She likes to write a little poem
                For every single season.

And so she does!  Six readers explore our four seasons through Mrs. Summer-Fall-Winter-Spring's little poems, then all join in on the repeated chorus lines. This script package includes two versions: (1) a student reading script and (2) a teacher script with possible blocking and staging suggestions.
