PK-105 EVENTS LEADING UP TO THE AMERICAN WAR OF INDEPENDENCE

The Boston Massacre and Beyond...
What were the historical events that lead up to the American War of Independence? This Group Reading package combines characters, drama, intrigue, facts, fun (and even a little music, if you wish) to explore this important time in our American history.
----------------------------------
This Group Reading is divided up into THREE sections – so half the class can read the first (Boston Massacre); the other half read the second (Boston Tea Party); and the whole class to read the final one (Lexington and Concord).
1. The Boston Massacre March 5th 1770 (15 readers)
2. The Boston Tea Party December 16th 1773 (15 readers)
3. Lexington and Concord April 18/19th 1775 (30 readers)
Based on Class of 30 (For class of 26, see alternative speaking arrangements at the end of the script).
NOTE: If the scripts are being used for ‘a performance’ as opposed to a group reading within the classroom, see ‘ Performance Notes’ at the end of the script for suggested music to entrances, Narrator’s introduction, and conclusion to play, plus the "Redcoat Rap".)
A Package of 3 Short Historical Scripts for $23.98. Download and duplication rights included. No royalties.
