CAMOUFLAGE CRITTERS!

Teaching about "camouflage"?
Here's a Choral Reading/Readers Theater Script that tells how six critters (a dog, cat, bird, snake, lizard, and butterfly) all mysteriously disappear! Talk about blending in with the things that surround you. The last chorus goes like this:
Camouflage critters, where have you gone?
Come back critters, where you belong.
You look just like the things around you.
Have faded into what surrounds you!
Come back critters, where you belong.
Camouflage critters, where have you gone?

The script has been formatted for a number of SOLO READER lines, ALL GIRLS, ALL BOYS and an ALL CHORUS. After the first 10 solo reader lines, the script is not marked with numbers for the remaining solo readers. This is done so that the teacher/director may use as many or as few solo readers as are available in the classroom. Simply pencil in the numbers needed to include as many readers as you want to include. If your readers are few, divide all the solo lines between the readers available. If you have many readers, I hope you find enough solo lines in the script to accommodate them all!
