Slow Down Christmas (Choral, Christian Theme)

ALL GIRLS, ALL BOYS, ALL, and 7 SOLO READERS wish to slow the clock down so they can be ready for Christmas.  In the end, they figure out that Christmas is all about something else altogether:

ALL: Wait a minute!

So we’re not ready!

Time won’t slow down

To slow and steady.

But that’s all right,

We’re all together,

SOLO 6: Whatever the distance,

Whatever the weather,

ALL BOYS: And we’ve had time

To figure out

Just what Christmas

Is all about.

ALL GIRLS: It’s about a stable,

A mother and child,

A tiny infant,

Tender and mild,

Who brings us joy,

SOLO 7: Hope, peace and love

From our heavenly Father

Up above.
