Choral Reading Scripts
As the piece is performed, the students describe a bad dream they have had - a dream where there is nothing but ENGLISH spoken or read at school - or seen on local TV.
This is a Value-Added package. You get the three versions mentioned below for the price of one. This way, you can perform the version that works best for you and your students.
Version 1: The student finally comes up with a plan to "stamp out English" altogether - only to finally realize he/she has been "tricked" into telling this entire story IN ENGLISH - of all things!
Version 2: Mother and Father make suggestions that help change the student's thinking about learning English. In the end, he/she decides to approach the problem from a new and more positive point of view.
Version 3: A teacher makes the suggestions that help change the student's thinking about learning English.
Readers: The entire story is told in 6 - 8 verses (depending on the version) and includes a repetitive ALL CHORUS. It is formatted for ALL MALE VOICES, ALL FEMALE VOICE, ALL, and SOLO.
Script Length: 6 - 8 pages per script version
Performance Time: 3-4 minutes per script version
