As each animal is magically added to the carrot tugging team, the descriptive words grow: large, huge, enormous, humungous, and gigantic! A playwright, set designer, costume designer, and director open this story and re-join the cast at the end to celebrate victory with carrot stew. This is a Readers Theater version of the story and is formatted for 14 intermediate readers.
NOTE: If you wish to involve more students or the entire class, a chorus may be added to chant along with the "ALL" chorus lines.
